I’ve been a member of koga Fitness Center (71 hits) for over two years. During that time I’ve worked on several occasions with their personal trainers. Now, at first I was reluctant to hire a trainer —they’re not cheap. However, I’ve found that when I’m working with a trainer I’m a lot more motivated and I train harder. In other words, it makes my workouts more efficient.
Also, a good trainer helps you plan your workouts on the days when you’re not working with them. This allows you the have the benefit of a trainer even though you’re working out alone.
Another reason that trainers are important is they help you use the equipment properly. Part of their job is to insure that you’re not using too much weight or training too hard. You don’t want to hurt yourself. No, working with the trainer was one of the best investments I’ve made in helping stave off middle age. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get physically fit.
Oh and if you’re looking for a physical trainer on Long Island, I’d recommend the trainers at Koga Fitness Center. Good Luck!

Stolen items returned, two women arrested in Farmingdale (5 hits)
4 Feb 2007 at 12:00am
Hours after two women robbed a 54-year-old woman of her purse and a shopping bag full of clothes and jewelry in Farmingdale, they were caught and arrested, Nassau police said Saturday. At 9:15 Friday night, the shopper had just entered her parked car in the lot of a Walgreen's store on Main Street, when a woman opened the passenger door, grabbed the victim's arm and demanded her purse, police spokesman Officer Michael Toich said. A second female then opened the driver's side door and grabbed the victim's purse. They also took a JCPenney shopping bag with clothes and jewelry. The victim called 911 and described her attackers, police said. About a half-hour later, Eighth Precinct Officers Michael Bjornstad and John Christie found Cynthia M. Lambert, 19, of 62 Grant St., South Farmingdale; and Ashakei B. Croft, 20, of 134 Davidson St., Wyandanch, parked in a 1996 Dodge Neon at Saxon Road and Paula Drive in South Farmingdale. All of the stolen items were with them and later returned to the victim, police said. Lambert and Croft were charged with second-degree robbery. Both pleaded not guilty at the arraignments in First District Court in Hempstead Saturday. Croft was released on the condition that she report frequently to a probation officer while Lambert was ordered held in lieu of $750 bail.

So here’s the story: One of the blogs I frequently read is written by a women named Jennifer Laycock, she has an excellent blog about search engine optimization, that I like. Ms. Laycock also has a separate blog, called The Lactivist, that blog dedicated to breastfeeding moms. Now… being a middle-aged man, I’ve never had a reason to check that one out …until today.
It seems on her blog, is being sued by, of all people The Pork Industry! Apparently, Ms. Laycock sells various tee-shirts with cute, breast feeding related sayings on them. Things like “Milk On Tapâ€, “That’s my baby’s lunch you’re staring at†and the one that’s gotten her in trouble “The Other White Milkâ€
Apparently The Pork Industry – heretofore known as “The Big Pigsâ€, have taken offense to that one. In their letter to Laycock, The Big Pigs claim that the phrase “The Other White Milk†infringes on their copyrighted phrase “The Other White Meatâ€. They also go on to claim that she is using that phrase to promote the use of breast milk beyond the feeding infants. Apparently, Ms Laycock has other sinister breast milk plans that directly affect the Big Pigs…
