Everyone's working on Science Projects.
If you have children in elementary school, it's science fair project time. Kids from kindergarden thru fifth grade are currently working on their projects.
As this is fun and a good learning experience for the kids, I think they expect too much from the children. Not only do they have to work on the project, but they also need to state the problem, list the procedure, hypothesis, collect data and a conclusion. This all must be presented on an exhibit or a display, all with the child emphasizing his or her own work. On top of that they must demonstrate this at the science fair. Lets be honest does a kindergardener really know what a hypothesis is. Do you?
