Lynbrook teen returns $24k Found in theater
While cleaning up between shows on Friday, theater employee and college student, Christopher Montgomery, made an unexpected find. A pouch containing $24,000 in cash! So what did the 19 year old Long Islander do with all that cash?
He returned its rightful owner of course!
The money belonging to RoseMarie Limoncelli, had fallen out of her purse as she sat with her daughter watching "Happy Feet". She hadnt had time to get to the bank to deposit the cash so she brought it with her. As soon as she realized the cash was missing, Ms. Limoncelli frantically called the theater and was told the money had been found and was waiting for her. Grateful for the teens honesty, she offered a reward —but the kid wouldnt accept it!
