Joseph DiBiasa of Ronkonkoma and his son, Joseph Michael DiBiasa, were on a hunting trip in Colorado on Tuesday. Tragedy struck when the strap on a rifle the young Mr. DiBiasa was carrying broke. Mr. DiBiasa accidentally grabbed the trigger, unfortunatly the gun’s safety was not engaged and the gun went off, hitting and killing the senior Mr. DiBiasa.

The death has been ruled accidental and no charges were filed.
Joseph DiBiasa Jr., 66, of Ronkonkoma, N.Y., was killed instantly Tuesday, Gunnison County investigators said.
