Teachers Keep Getting Married…

For a few years now, I've been reading the "Celebrations" section in Sunday Newsday. Each week they feature eight or nine couples who've just gotten married. For each couple there's a picture and a brief bio which lists each partners occupation.

…Now Maybe I have too much time on my hands, but one thing I've noticed is that every week there seems to be a disproportionate number of teachers in this group. This week (10/15) (Page G58) there eight couples listed —five of these couples have teacher as the occupation of one of the partners. I see numbers like this every week, usually at least a few of the couples getting married are teachers. Is this some great conspiracy… Maybe, I'll keep watching.
