There are lot’s of ways you can add your views to this site.

The easiest way is to simply add a relative comment to one of our posts. This website is powered by a blog, which means there is a very user-friendly way for you to add your two cents worth.

Posting A Comment

Here’s how to post a comment:

Go to an existing post and find the “Comment” Link at the bottom of that post, click it on and you’ll be presented with a form to add your comment.

1) Enter your name

2) Your Email Address (See Our Privacy Policy)

3) Your Website (if you have one)

4) Add Your Comment

5) Hit the Submit Button and you’re done!

Guidelines:

Not all comments are published, here’s a few things you can do to help ensure that your post gets added to the site:

1) Make sure you’re adding value to the post – don’t just say “I agree” explain why you agree (or disagree).

2) Your comment should be reasonably brief, one or two paragraphs should be plenty. If you find your comment(s) running longer then that, consider contributing it as an article (see below).

3) This is a family site, avoid using expletives.

4) We won’t post hate comments, personal attacks, slurs or any other stupidity. Again, we’re a family site.

Writing An Article

Do you like to write, feel free to contribute an article to Long Island Interactive. Tell the world what you love about the Island. Send us your article, at this email address, and we’ll have a look. Here’s some ideas…
